No doubt about it, the Colorado Rockies minor league system is one of the finest in all of baseball.
And the Albuquerque Isotopes players who are taking place in the AAA All-Star Game, and the festivities before, are really putting on a show.
First, it was Mike Tauchman, winning the outfield throwing competition on Monday:

Tauchman wasn’t done there.
Today, in the AAA All-Star game, first it was Josh Fuentes smashing a home run to get the PCL on the scoreboard:

This year with Albuquerque, Tauchman is hitting at an incredible .337 clip, with 13 homers and 52 RBI. His batting average is the highest for anyone on the Isotopes.
Fuentes isn’t far behind, batting .328, and the third/first baseman also has nine home runs and 64 RBI this season in Albuquerque. The Isotopes are currently 44-45 overall, third in the Pacific Southern Division.
