After losing 3-2 on Wednesday in Denver, the Colorado Avalanche will travel to Nashville for game five on Friday and will be shorthanded in net.
Andrew Hammond, who played the final 17 minutes of game four will start between the pipes for Colorado replacing the injured Jonathan Bernier.

Bernier was injured in the third-period of the Avalanche game four loss and his injury is described as a lower body. More details to come.
Hammond has appeared in three playoff games in his career, losing both of his starts in his rookie year with Ottawa. The Colorado net-minder has made 82 saves on the 89 shots he’s faced in his playoff career.
