The Denver Nuggets are now 13-10, and after a couple wins by a combined 52 points, they seem to be heading in the right direction.

Nikola Jokic is playing at an all-time level. Michael Porter Jr. has been solid, as has Christian Braun. Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon are back healthy (or healthier) in the starting lineup. The bench is slowly figuring some things out with Russell Westbrook at the lead.

But now, after the unofficial start of trade season on December 15th, the Nuggets are into the next phase of their season. Will they or will they not make a trade to change the team? It’s a possibility, and there are only a few ways it could happen.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn goes other some thoughts on the current trade market landscape around the NBA and where the Denver Nuggets will fit into that discussion. Will they target the available Jimmy Butler or Zach LaVine, or will they go a different direction?

Ryan breaks it down, then he previews tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings and Denver’s upcoming week.
