DENVER — The Central Division’s third-seed Avalanche are set to begin the Stanley Cup playoffs on Sunday against the No. 2 Winnipeg Jets. Game 1 is scheduled for 5 p.m. MT at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.
The Avs haven’t started a playoff series on the road since the second round in 2019 against the San Jose Sharks. They’ve had home-ice advantage in each of the last nine series.
Ross Colton doesn't care for home-ice advantage.

The Jets dominated the season series, winning all three games and outscoring the Avs 17-4. On April 13, Colorado hosted Winnipeg in a game that would likely determine which team finishes with more points. The Jets came into Ball Arena and handed the Avalanche their first and only home shutout loss this season, embarrassing them 7-0 in the process.
