He carries a cap hit of $875,000 and is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.

MacDermid was selected by Seattle from the Kings in the expansion draft last week. In 118 career games with L.A., MacDermid has recorded 17 points and a whopping 151 penalty minutes.
