The Denver Broncos will attempt to make it three consecutive victories when they face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The Bengals will be playing without starting quarterback Andy Dalton, but superstar wide receiver A.J. Green is expected to play.
Since the first time Green came to the Mile High City in 2011, the talented wide receiver out of Georgia has almost always performed well against the Broncos. In six career games against Denver, Green has found the end zone four times and finished with five or more receptions in every matchup except for 2014.
Despite Green’s consistent success, Broncos starting cornerback Bradley Roby is feeling confident heading into the matchup. Roby joined Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro on the Afternoon Drive Thursday and when asked the matchup with Green, Roby explained that there are few wide receivers in the league that are as versatile.
“He’s a deep threat (and) he’s also good in the intermediate as well,” Roby said. “At the receiver position, there’s not a lot of guys that are his height and can run the way he does. He’s definitely one of the top (wide receivers) in the game.”
