Brandon Marshall lets everyone know he’s “definitely not disgruntled”

Brandon Marshall

Between Von Miller and Brandon Marshall, the Denver Broncos have two defenders who are looking to get lucrative, long-term contracts. Unfortunately, the leverage for a deal isn’t in their hands, as the Broncos have tagged both of them for this season.

In many situations, this could cause a player to become “disgruntled.” We see it all the time. When a franchise stops a player from earning their market value through the use of a franchise tag or tender, that player often, and understandably, becomes frustrated, holding out through training camp, the preseason and possibly even the regular season.

With these two guys, though, that hasn’t been the case at all.

Miller, who’s being offered between $3-5 million less than he could make on the open market, has been steadfast in saying that not only does he want to be a Bronco for life, but that he’s not holding a grudge against the Broncos or their negotiating tactics.

Likewise, Marshall has shown no ill will towards Denver, even showing up for voluntary workouts. And today, he reiterated that stance.

And neither are Broncos fans.

There’s clearly something special about the group of guys in this locker room, and that’s evident in their success. Broncos Country is lucky to root for guys like this.
