The 2024-25 Colorado Avalanche season gets underway on Wednesday.

Before the regular season starts, now is the time to get your season long future bets in. So let’s take a look at what the sportsbooks are saying about the Avs this season.

Avalanche Futures

Over the past few seasons, the Avalanche have been less than +1000 odds to win the Stanley Cup and are typically one of the favorites.

This season that is not necessarily the case. The Avs are +1300 to win the Stanley Cup at DraftKings after back-to-back seasons of losing in the first two rounds of the playoffs. They are +650 to win the Western Conference.

Of course, for the Avs to win the Stanley Cup or Western Conference, plenty of things would have to go their way in the playoffs. If you would rather bet on something more predictable, the Avs are +500 to earn the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and the over/under is 102.5 regular season points at DraftKings.

Nathan MacKinnon Futures

Nathan MacKinnon brought home some hardware last season. The Avs’ superstar center won the Hart Memorial Trophy and the Ted Lindsay Award. Both awards are given to the league’s top player. The Hart is voted on by the writers and the players vote on the Ted Lindsay.

MacKinnon is +650 to win the Hart at DraftKings. He is +400 to win the Art Ross Trophy, which is given to the top point scorer in the NHL.

Cale Makar Futures

Cale Makar has won the James Norris Trophy, given to the league’s top defenseman, once in his career. But he’s always in the mix. Makar is +200 to win the Norris this season at DraftKings.

If you are interested in taking a longshot bet as one of the league’s top players, Makar is +3500 to win the Hart Trophy.
