The last few NFL seasons have been agonizing for the Denver Broncos and their fan base.
Since winning Super Bowl 50, the Broncos franchise has struggled to return to championship form, mainly because of their offense. After running through a spruce of quarterbacks and head coaches, the Broncos have settled on a Drew Lock-Vic Fangio tandem.
The Broncos’ offense is young and has plenty of promise, especially wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
The SMU product put together a sensational sophomore season in 2019, compiling over 1,000 yards to pair with six touchdowns en route to his first Pro Bowl nod.
The NFL put together an action-packed highlight reel of Sutton’s play on the gridiron from last season.
Scored his first Pro Bowl selection in 2019.

Sutton’s play garnered praise from legendary Dallas Cowboys’ receiver Michael Irvin.
“I love his maturation and his progress and the way he’s coming along and he’ll keep learning the game,” The three-time Super Bowl champions said. “He’s learning how to get open and he made some phenomenal plays and catches.”
At just 24 years old, Sutton is still growing as a professional receiver and has the potential to blossom into an elite wideout.
Sutton’s performance solidified his spot atop the Broncos’ receiving corps and he will be Lock’s top target for the 2020 season and beyond.
Despite the Broncos’ hardships last season, Sutton showed out on the field. Denver had three different starting quarterbacks last year, and Sutton caught a pass from each of them. When veteran Emmanuel Sanders was traded to the San Francisco 49ers midway through the season, Sutton stepped up as a top option within Denver’s offense.
Sutton started the season as Denver’s second or third best option at receiver but ended the campaign atop the depth chart. With a new era of Broncos football on the horizon, Sutton has a chance to solidfy himself has a top receiver in the league.
