In the latest episode of the CSG Podcast, host Jeff Morton is feeling inspired by ESPN’s “The Last Dance” documentary series.
Jeff takes us back to February of 1996, when the thoroughly mediocre (BAD!) Denver Nuggets faced the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls were on an 18-game winning streak at the time and on their way to finishing the season with 72 wins.
The Nuggets pulled off what was thought to be impossible, defeating the Bulls and breaking their winning streak. Mahmoud Abdul Rauf had a brilliant shooting night and LaPhonso Ellis played outstanding defense.
