The Denver Broncos opponents for the 2023 NFL season are officially set going into next season. Various storylines will impact the Broncos and their opponents when they play next year. After wrapping up a disappointing 2022 campaign on Sunday, the off-season officially begins.
Denver Broncos 2023 opponents set
After having nine away games during the 2022 NFL season, the Denver Broncos will host nine home games next year. The Broncos will play the AFC East and NFC North as a major part of their schedule next season on top of their AFC West schedule. They’ll also play the last-place finishers of the AFC South, AFC North, and NFC East.
Broncos home games
The Broncos nine-game home opponents feature the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, and Kansas City Chiefs for stake inside the AFC West. Denver will host the New York Jets and New England Patriots as part of their AFC East slate. For their NFC North opponents, the Broncos will also host the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers. In terms of last-place finishers, Denver will also host home games against the Washington Commanders and Cleveland Browns to round out their nine-game home schedule.

Broncos away games:
Denver will travel eight times in 2023 including the typical road matchups against their AFC West counterparts. On the other hand, Denver will travel to take on the AFC East’s Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. Any time the Bills are featured as a road opponent when Denver travels there will be important to consider especially if it’s December. As part of their series against the NFC North, the Broncos will travel to take on the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, and the last-place AFC South finisher Houston Texans.
Away: Raiders, Chiefs, Chargers, Bills, Dolphins, Bears, Lions, Texans.
The NFL usually releases the official schedule from mid-April to mid-May which will outline when the Broncos will play their 2023 opponents. Each team including the Broncos will have a new look in one way or another as various changes in coaching, and personnel plan to impact the NFL this off-season. For Denver specifically, they’ll have a brand new head coach going into 2023.
