The Denver Broncos official schedule has been released as the NFL unveiled the full slate of games for the 2024 NFL season. The Broncos will see two total primetime games as they face a tough gauntlet of opponents from the AFC and NFC.
Denver Broncos 2024 NFL schedule
Sean Payton is entering his second season as the team’s head coach, and Bo Nix is expected to be the team’s anticipated starter in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season. Here is the full slate of games for Denver this upcoming season.
Week 1: Broncos @ Seattle Seahawks – 2:25 p.m. MT – Sept. 8
Russell Wilson is no longer a member of either franchise, which makes the stakes for this Week 1 opener interesting. This will be the third time since 2018 the Broncos and Seahawks have faced each other to open a regular season.
Week 2: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Broncos – 2:25 p.m. MT – Sept. 15
Russell Wilson makes his return to the Mile High City. Will it be Payton’s guy vs. the guy Payton didn’t want?
Week 3: Broncos @ Tampa Bay Buccanneers – 11:00 a.m. MT – Sept. 22
The Broncos first 11 a.m. kickoff of the year against a Bucs team that enjoyed a playoff appearance led by Baker Mayfield.
Week 4: Broncos @ New York Jets – 11:00 a.m. MT – Sept. 29
Back-to-back 11 a.m. kickoffs on the east coast for Denver. Will Nathaniel Hackett even be part of the mix at this juncture for the Jets? Can the Broncos get revenge on the road after losing to New York last season?
Week 5: vs. Las Vegas Raiders – 2:05 p.m. MT – Oct. 5
The first of two back-to-back AFC West divisional matchups. Will it be against Gardner Minshew or Aidan O’Connell?
Week 6: vs. Los Angeles Chargers – 2:05 p.m. MT – Oct. 13
The Chargers are widely considered winners of the offseason, but that doesn’t really matter. Our first look at Herbert vs. Nix potentially?
Week 7: Broncos @ New Orleans Saints – Thursday Night Football – Oct. 17
Sean Payton’s highly anticipated return to New Orleans comes to Thursday Night Football just days after Denver plays a tough and physical AFC West matchup.
Week 8: vs. Carolina Panthers – 2:25 p.m. MT – Oct. 27
Bryce Young vs. Bo Nix in a battle of two young QBs? Ejiro Evero and Josey Jewell’s return to the Mile High City.
Week 9: Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens – 11:00 a.m. MT – Nov. 3
It’s a tough Eastern time zone game against Lamar Jackson and a really good Ravens defense based on how they played last year.
Week 10: Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs – 11:00 a.m. MT – Nov. 10
Unbelievably tough two-game stretch for Denver from Week 9 to Week 10. Lamar Jackson one week then Patrick Mahomes the next? Very important juncture of the Broncos season.
Week 11: vs. Atlanta Falcons – 2:05 p.m. MT – Nov. 17
Kirk Cousins and the Falcons come to town. You like that?
Week 12: Broncos @ Las Vegas Raiders – 2:05 p.m. MT – Nov. 24
Seven of the Broncos first 12 games of the year are road games and this one will be another tough one.
Week 13: vs. Cleveland Browns – 6:20 p.m. MT – Dec. 2 – Monday Night Football
Jerry Jeudy makes his return to the Mile High City on Monday Night Football on what should be a chilly night in December.
Week 14: Bye Week
It’s been a long time since the Broncos have had a bye week this late into the season. Their first 13 games are tough on paper.
Week 15: vs. Indianapolis Colts – 2:25 p.m. MT – Dec. 15
This final stretch of games for Denver will be filled with AFC matchups and tough teams. Anthony Richardson vs. Nix in a battle of two young QBs?
Week 16: Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers – 2:05 p.m. MT – Dec. 22
The Broncos begin their first of a two-game AFC conference road trip that could be a potential playoff gauntlet.
Week 17: Broncos @ Cincinnati Bengals – Time TBD- Dec. 28/29
Nothing is more dangerous than December Joe Burrow, and that will be a tough road test for the Broncos.
Week 18: vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Date/Time TBD
The Broncos final six games of the year are against AFC opponents. Conference and division tiebreakers are important, but ending the season against Patrick Mahomes could have major post-season implications.
