The Denver Broncos were back on the practice field on Wednesday for their first practice of the week as they prepare for Sunday’s must-win AFC conference showdown with Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts.
Denver Broncos CB Riley Moss spotted at practice
The Indianapolis Colts have a handful of wide receivers that will present the Denver Broncos defense with some challenges and they’ll likely be tested downfield this week from Anthony Richardson and his arm.
One of the bigger questions surrounding the defense revolves around the health status of cornerback Riley Moss, who has an MCL sprain.

Moss was spotted at practice during the team’s media viewing portion, where he participated in the team’s stretching period before he jogged off to the side field as the team transitioned into their individual period.
He was officially a non-participant after the team released their injury report.
It still seems like a longshot that Moss would be able to go this week, especially with such a short turnaround afterward, as the team will have to go face the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football in a crucial AFC West matchup that will also have major implications on the team’s post-season aspirations.
Denver will face some tough wide receivers over the course of the next three weeks, including on Sunday, when they’ll likely face Josh Downs, who returned to practice this week after missing time due to an injury, as well as Alec Pierce and Michael Pittman Jr.

Every player was accounted for at practice for Denver, including safety Brandon Jones, who was spotted at practice today as well after he left Week 13’s game against the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football in the third quarter with a groin injury. He was present for team stretch and individual period with the defensive backs.
