The Denver Broncos will kick things off against the Detroit Lions in just under 90 minutes. Which players will be inactive as Denver looks to get one step closer to making a playoff push?
Denver Broncos safety P.J. Locke will play
Leading up to tonight’s matchup, the Broncos had listed safety P.J. Locke as questionable. Locke missed Wednesday’s practice and was limited on Thursday with a neck designation stemming from last week’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
He is officially active for tonight’s game against the Lions and will get the start next to Justin Simmons. Locke has been a crucial part of Denver’s defensive resurgence as of late, and has made a strong case to remain the starter for the rest of the season even with the looming return of veteran Kareem Jackson next week.
He’s registered a sack in three consecutive games and will look to add a fourth game to the mix tonight.
