It is Chiefs’ week and the Denver Broncos were back on the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since they beat the Las Vegas Raiders last week on Thursday Night Football. Denver’s injury report features J.K. Dobbins, Jonah Elliss, and a handful of other players as the Broncos prepare for Kansas City.
Dobbins was not spotted during Wednesday’s practice on the field after he suffered a foot injury in Thursday Night’s win against the Las Vegas Raiders after being hip drop tackled. Denver didn’t place him on injured reserve this week, which is a positive sign, but it will be interesting to see if he gets back on the practice field this week.
If he’s unable to go, the Broncos will likely rely on rookie RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin, and Tyler Badie as their gameday backs.
Elliss was also not spotted on the field on Wednesday, after he left Thursday Night’s game with a hamstring injury. Other players not spotted on the field were Patrick Surtain II, Nate Adkins, Trent Sherfield, and Alex Singleton.
Wide receiver Marvin Mims was back on the field and should be ready to go this week against the Chiefs, and was a full participant alongside outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper (thumb) and linebacker Garett Wallow (hamstring), whose 21-day window was officially activated
