The Denver Broncos wrapped up their final regular-season practice on Friday and released their final injury report for the week before they face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Denver Broncos list DE John Franklin-Myers as questionable
The Denver Broncos have listed defensive end John Franklin-Myers as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers with a hip designation. This has been an injury that’s been lingering since late last week, and it led to a handful of limited snaps for Franklin-Myers in Denver’s win against the Kansas City Chiefs.
He was limited all week long and will likely work out on the field before the game to see if he can give it a go. Regardless, the Broncos will want him for the playoffs, so it wouldn’t come as a shock if he doesn’t end up playing on Sunday, but if he does, I imagine it would likely be on a pitch count.
The team ruled linebacker Karene Reid (hamstring) and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hamstring) out for Sunday’s game. Reid has been a full participant all week at practice, but the way Denver’s active roster is currently constructed, there isn’t a clear-cut move on paper right now that they could make to bring him fully off of injured reserve and onto the active roster, especially with his 21-day window approaching the end.
Wide receiver Pat Bryant (concussion), tight end Nate Adkins (knee), and left guard Ben Powers (biceps) were all full participants and are cleared to play on Sunday.
Bryant cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol this week.
