The Denver Broncos needed to trim their roster to 75 by 2:00 p.m. MST, and while the news didn’t break until almost 45 minutes after the deadline, the Broncos did just that.
After releasing 11 players yesterday, John Elway and company parted ways with the final four this afternoon, starting with punter Britton Colquitt.

Bralon Addison looked to be an early star of training camp, both on the offense and in the return game, but his play sputtered down the stretch and the Broncos made the decision to move on, as they also did with offensive tackle Kyle Roberts.
Garrett Graham, a long-time Gary Kubiak tight end, was once thought of as a possible starting option, but he’ll spend the rest of the season on Injured Reserve.
This is just the start, though.
By Saturday, the Broncos will have to make 22 more cuts to get down to the league maximum of 53.
