The Denver Broncos will kick off their Week 5 home matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders here in the next 90 minutes for Throwback to 77′ day, honoring their newest Ring of Fame inductees and donning the new throwback uniforms. Which players are in and which players are inactive for today’s game?

Denver Broncos inactives vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The Denver Broncos have released their list of inactive players for today’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, which kicks off here at 2:05 p.m. MT.

Quarterback Zach Wilson, defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike, wide receiver Devaughn Vele, tight end Greg Dulcich, and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine headline the list of Week 5 inactives and will not play. Wilson will be the Broncos emergency quarterback designation despite his inactive status, as has been the trend since Week 1.

Vele’s last game played came in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks, where he had eight catches. He suffered cracked ribs in that game that forced him to miss Week 2, but he was a healthy scratch for Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Week 4 against the New York Jets due to the emergence and increased usage of third-round rookie Troy Franklin. Vele may find himself back into the rotation here soon.

“He’s playing sooner than later,” Broncos head coach Sean Payton said. “He’s doing well. He’s doing well.”

Uwazurike has been a healthy scratch since Week 1, as has Abrams-Draine.

The bigger surprise here is Dulcich being inactive. He’s struggled to get going offensively since Week 1, and it appears Payton and the coaching staff are changing things to see if they can get a boost in production with Krull’s addition.

For the Raiders, defensive lineman Maxx Crosby, who was initially ruled as questionable for today’s game, will play and will be one of the key targets Denver has to account for protection-wise, as he’ll line up against undrafted rookie free agent tackle Alex Palczewski who has looked impressive in his first two NFL starts.
