Denver Broncos Report: New uniforms on display, healthy squad ready for Sunday

East Rutherford, NJ -- September 29 -- Jeremy Ruckert of the Jets and Ja’Quan McMillian of Denver in the first half as the Denver Broncos edged the New York Jets 10-9 at MetLife Stadium.

The Denver Broncos are on a healthy wave on the injury side of things, with nearly every player on their active roster ready to play in Sunday’s home game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Not only are the Broncos healthy, but they are catching a banged up Raiders team that could be without several of their star players.

Denver Broncos Thursday Practice Report

Thursday was the second day of the week the Denver Broncos were on the practice field as they prepare for the Las Vegas Raiders in an AFC West Divisional showdown, but it was their first day wearing the new helmets they’ll be debuting on Sunday for their Throwback To 77 week.

Not only are they throwing it back to the helmets worn in 77, but the field will be designed to honor the 1977 team during their Alumni Weekend festivities.

Thursday’s injury report saw cornerback and special teams ace Tremon Smith (hand) added to it, but he was still a full participant. Wide receiver Josh Reynolds (foot) and safety JL Skinner (ankle) were both full participants on Thursday. The only player who did not participate was running back Tyler Badie (back) who was injured in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. Broncos head coach Sean Payton said on Wednesday that it’s possible Badie is a candidate for IR, which means a corresponding roster move could take place on Friday if that ends up being the case.

Broncos injury report

The Las Vegas Raiders on the other hand, have a long list of players who did not participate in Thursday’s practice due to injuries.

Raiders – DNP

Regardless of their injury statuses, the Broncos have been focused this week as they look to build on their 2-2 start and snap their current eight-game losing streak against the Raiders.
