The Denver Broncos released their final injury report of the week as they wrapped up their last practice of the week on Friday ahead of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. They’ll be without two key players, including one of the Broncos defense’s most important players.
Defensive lineman D.J. Jones was ruled out with an ankle injury and will not play against the Raiders. Tight end Nate Adkins, who continues to deal with a lingering knee issue, was also ruled out after he didn’t participate in practice all week.
Jones did not participate in any practice this week, but he was spotted on the team’s side field on Friday working out, as were left guard Ben Powers, fullback Michael Burton, and defensive end Matt Henningsen, who was placed on season-ending IR after tearing his Achilles in training camp.
Powers could be in the mix to return soon after having surgery to repair his biceps.
Rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant was limited Thursday and Friday with a hamstring injury, but did not have a game status designation for Sunday’s game, which means he’s good to go.
Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss will make his on-field return for the first time since injuring his hamstring against the Raiders in their first matchup on Thursday Night Football. He was a full participant all week as was cornerback Reese Taylor, who had a chest designation.
