The Denver Broncos have had several players make strides as they’ve battled through injuries throughout the week. A couple of players have been ruled out, but things are looking up for John Franklin-Myers as he continues to navigate his way through the concussion protocol.

Denver Broncos wrap up final practice before Bucs game

The Denver Broncos have ruled out outside linebacker Baron Browning (foot) and safety JL Skinner (ankle) for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both players did not participate in practice at all throughout the week.

Defensive end John Franklin-Myers (concussion) is listed as questionable despite being a limited participant on Thursday and a full participant during Friday’s practices. He’ll be a true game-time decision this week and is itching to play.

Safety Brandon Jones (foot) upgraded from limited to full participation on Friday and should be good to go for Sunday’s game. All of Denver’s other players this week, featuring defensive end Zach Allen (shoulder), wide receiver Josh Reynolds (Achilles), wide receiver Devaughn Vele (ribs), tight end Greg Dulcich (knee/ankle), and tight end Adam Trautman (shoulder), were all full participants on Friday and will play on Sunday.

Broncos Friday Injury Report

After Friday’s practice, Broncos head coach Sean Payton didn’t rule out the possibility that Browning ends up on injured reserve. He did not appear at practice all week and wasn’t spotted on the team’s side field. Outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman will fill in on the rotation at the position on Sunday as the team gets an extensive look at Nik Bonitto as the starter opposite Jonathon Cooper.
