The Denver Broncos injury report is in the best possible place it can be this late in the NFL season, and with a huge matchup coming up against the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs, the Broncos are relatively healthy.
Denver Broncos see return of Dre Greenlaw and Drew Sanders on Tuesday
The Denver Broncos took the field for Tuesday’s practice, and linebackers Dre Greenlaw and Drew Sanders were on the field. Greenlaw was back on the field for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in the final two minutes of the Broncos’ Week 15 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he appears set to return in Saturday’s home playoff game against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
Joining him back on the field was his linebacker counterpart, Drew Sanders, who took the field for the first time since training camp. Sanders went down with a foot injury back during the first week of camp and ended up getting surgery afterwards to repair the issue. It’s been a long journey back for Sanders, whose young career has unfortunately been riddled with injuries.
Despite that, Sanders possesses a level of athleticism that can be game-changing for Denver defensively if needed, but certainly can impact special teams play. His 21-day window officially opened, and the Broncos’ deadline for him would lead up to Super Bowl 60, if they can advance that far.
Joining Greenlaw and Sanders in their return was tight end Lucas Krull, who has missed a large portion of the second half of the season after he suffered a foot injury that required surgery. His 21-day window is now open as well.
All three players were limited participants.
Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, who has been battling a hip injury for the last two and a half weeks, was back at practice on Monday and was a full participant and will be ready to go vs. the Bills.

The Broncos will be back on the practice field on Wednesday for their second-to-last practice of the week before Saturday’s playoff showdown against the Bills.
