Some initial surprises here for the roster include the release of veteran fullback Michael Burton, whose spot was taken by second-year player Nate Adkins. Denver officially released Tim Patrick and Samaje Perine after it came out yesterday that they weren’t going to be part of Sean Payton’s roster.

Three undrafted rookies made the team this year, including Levelle Bailey, Frank Crum, and Blake Watson. Crum is arguably the biggest surprise move on the roster in terms of making it, considering he didn’t have the cleanest performances in the preseason slate.

The Broncos will carry nine offensive linemen into the regular season.
