The Denver Broncos strength of schedule for the 2025 season is out, and they have a good shot at making the playoffs again.

The Broncos play the two Super Bowl teams from last year–and the Chiefs twice–but they also have a schedule filled with bad teams.

The NFL schedule release is tomorrow, so we don’t know when Denver will play each opponent, but we do know they’ll play in London vs. the Jets and in Kansas City on Christmas Day.

Denver Broncos strength of schedule is manageable

Depending on what metric you want to use, the Broncos strength of schedule is either 15th–using Super Bowl odds–or 19th based on projected win totals.

Either way, that SOS is certainly manageable for a playoff team and it helps pave the way for a second straight postseason appearance.

When looking at their SOS based on Super Bowl odds, Denver’s 15th. Deniz Selman used an equally weighted average of three sports books–Bet365, DraftKings, and FanDuel–to come up with the rankings you can explore below.

I agree with Sheil here that it’s a great way to look at the Denver Broncos strength of schedule.

What jumps out immediately is they play the best team in the Eagles, and then the Chiefs are fourth, which Denver faces twice.

But when you look down the line, the Broncos face six bad opponents in seven games, with the Raiders twice.

Those bad teams include Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Tennessee, and both New York teams. So, depending on when Denver plays each opponent, the Broncos could have a stretch of bad teams in a row.

When looking at projected win totals, the Denver Broncos strength of schedule is 19th.

Last year, Las Vegas put the Broncos O/U for win totals at a way too low 5.5 games. This year, they’re at 9.5.

According to Warren Sharp, three of Denver’s opponents are at 5.5 games, and the Raiders sit at 6.5 games.

If the Broncos manage to win 10 games–which would hit the over on that win total–they’ll likely make it back to the playoffs.

And considering the roster has improved this offseason, with additions like Dre Greenlaw, Talanoa Hufanga, Evan Engram, and the draft picks, Sean Payton’s team is only improving.

Stay tuned for the full schedule release tomorrow.
