According to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter, the Denver Broncos are scheduled to host former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins for a pre-draft visit.
Schefter also reported that Haskins is scheduled to work out with the Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins in the coming days, while also planning to visit the Washington Redskins and New York Giants.
This news comes on the heels of Haskins’ pro day in which he showed off his big arm and an ability to be a solid pocket-passer at the NFL level.

It is no surprise that Denver is interested in Haskins as they still have a glaring need at the quarterback position. Even though Joe Flacco fixes the Broncos quarterback issues in the short-term, Denver is still looking for their franchise signal-caller, which could possibly be Haskins.
The consensus top-3 quarterback in this year’s class are Kyler Murray, Haskins and Drew Lock, who the Broncos have been linked to as well. If Haskins ends up falling to the Broncos on draft night, it might be hard for them to pass on the former Ohio state gunslinger, who had a phenomenal redshirt sophomore season. In 14 games, Haskins completed 373 passes for 4,831 yards, while throwing for 50 touchdowns to go along with just eight interceptions.
Will Dwayne Haskins stay hot at Ohio State and be the 1st QB taken in next year's draft?

Because of his tremendous year, Haskins finished third in the Heisman Trophy race, just behind Tua Tagovailoa out of Alabama and the eventual winner, Kyler Murray. Even though Haskins fell just short of winning the Heisman, he still had an incredible 2018 season, which opted him to declare for the draft.
If Haskins does fall to Denver at 10 overall, it may be hard for John Elway and the Broncos to pass on a player of his caliber. Haskins is far from the most complete quarterback prospect we have seen, but he is certainly a player that could take a franchise to the next level. For a team desperate to find a solution at quarterback long-term, a visit could be just the start of Denver seriously considering Haskins come draft night.
