The Denver Broncos kick things off in the next 90 minutes against the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football and they’ve released their list of inactive players for tonight’s game.
Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss will miss because of a hamstring injury that’s been impacting him since he suffered it against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10. He was a limited participant this week in practice and could make his return next week against the Raiders.
Rookie Que Robinson is expected to get more snaps in the defensive rotation behind Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper alongside Dondrea Tillman in Elliss’ absence.
Tight end Nate Adkins will miss another game with a knee injury that’s been impacting him since the Broncos’ Week 8 win against the Dallas Cowboys. Denver will rely on Adam Trautman and Evan Engram at tight end, specifically tonight.
Jordan Jackson and Sai’vion Jones continue their streak of being inactive, with the Broncos’ defensive line rotation being solidified with Zach Allen, D.J. Jones, John Franklin-Myers, Malcolm Roach, and Eyioma Uwazurike getting the premium snaps defensively.
Offensive tackle Geron Christian will be inactive for his second straight game since the team signed him off the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.
After popping up with an illness this morning and appearing on the injury report as questionable, safety Talanoa Hufanga will play tonight.
