Every season is different, and this Denver Nuggets season has begun with impressive contributions from the Nuggets bench across the board.

Tim Hardaway Jr. has been Denver’s sixth man most nights and is shooting a high percentage from three on the season. His spacing stands out in Denver’s offense.

Peyton Watson has been the versatile forward they’ve needed to cover for Aaron Gordon and Cam Johnson at times, showcasing an improved skill set across the board to go with his game-changing shot blocking.

Bruce Brown has been steady as ever in his return to the Mile High City, filling in the gaps on the perimeter.

Jonas Valanciunas has been exactly what the Nuggets needed him to be as a replacement for Nikola Jokic in bench lineups.

All in all, the bench has been great so far and allows the Nuggets to have blowout wins like they did last night.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn highlights the many great aspects of the Denver Nuggets 122-88 blowout win over the New Orleans Pelicans. He focuses on another great night for the starters that included a 29-2 run to start the second half, more contributions for the bench unit, and what the Nuggets are learning about their team.

Pickaxe and Roll is the flagship Denver Nuggets show on Mile High Sports, posting every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (unless otherwise specified). Ryan Blackburn breaks down the Nuggets in detail, bringing news, analytics, rotations, and more into a show for hardcore Nuggets fans.
