Ball Arena was incredible yesterday. Denver Nuggets fans were treated to an awesome overtime performance by their favorite team, defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 113-104 in a pivotal Game 3 performance. It’s those games that fans live for, the uncertainty and drama only to watch your team show up when it matters most and get the job done.

Nikola Jokic had a poor game overall, but the Nuggets played well around him to stay in the game. The defense was tremendous, as was the clutch shotmaking. Denver over and over again has proven they’re built for these tough moments, and last night’s epic performance was just another example.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn goes over what became a Game 3 overtime classic win by the Denver Nuggets over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Nikola Jokic struggled a lot, but Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. picked him up with great performances of their own. Christian Braun also defended Shai Gilgeous-Alexander very well, allowing the Nuggets to win this game with defense.

Ryan goes over the Game 3 win, the Nuggets’ incredible resilience, and whether the Nuggets can actually do this and win this series.
