The Denver Broncos only sacked Philip Rivers four times on Sunday. And we say only because those four sacks don’t nearly begin to represent the amount of pressure Denver’s pass rush put on the Chargers’ franchise quarterback.
Rivers was under distress from the first snap of the game. In fact, according to ESPN Stats & Info, he saw more pressure on Sunday than any other quarterback has seen all year.
The @Broncos defense pressured Philip Rivers on 31 of his 51 dropbacks (61%), highest pressure pct for any defense in a game this season

Without out a doubt, the Broncos forced Rivers into his worst game of the season. While he threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns, he only completed 43 percent of his passes and gifted the “No Fly Zone” with three interceptions.
His 48.8 passer rating was his lowest since November 2014.
All this is to say, don’t mess with the Denver Broncos defense.
