The Denver Nuggets will travel down to the Bay Area for a showdown with the Golden State Warriors. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. MST.

Denver will head to California after blowing out the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday evening, 100-86. Despite earning the victory, Denver lost young guard Jamal Murray in the second quarter to an ankle injury. There is no official word about Murray’s status for Thursday’s game, although it’s expected he will not play.

The Nuggets opened as -7 favorites, but that number has since dropped to -4 given Murray’s status. Still, the public is riding with the Nuggets, with 85% of money heading towards Denver.

Murray, Gary Harris and Paul Millsap are all nursing injuries and are listed as questionable for Thursday’s game.

With that, expect to see Michael Porter Jr. and Torrey Craig receive a bump in playing time.

Golden State has struggled all season and is currently on a nine-game losing streak. The Warriors were off Wednesday after suffering a horrid 125-97 loss to the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday.

The 2019-20 Warriors’ team is a shell of the dynasty that reigned supreme in the second half of the last decade. Kevin Durant now plays in Brooklyn, and both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are currently sidelined with injuries.

This season has been rough for the Warriors, who have only won nine games this season.

Denver has won four of their last five games, which includes two impressive victories against the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers. That said, Denver will enter tonight’s game on the second night of a back-to-back, which is usually a death wish when betting NBA games.

The Nuggets are just 14-17-3 when favored ATS this season.

The over/under is set at 212 after opening at 214.5. Both the Warriors and Nuggets rank within the bottom half of the league in scoring this season. Despite that, 71% of public money is funneling towards the over.
