Colorado Eagles goaltender Pavel Francouz and forward Andrew Agozzino will be representing the Eagles in the upcoming 2019 AHL All-Star at Classic at MassMutual Center on Jan. 27-28, 2019.
Francouz, 28, is in the middle of his first year with the Colorado Eagles after signing a one-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche on March 2, 2018, following his three seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with the Traktor Chelyabinsk.
In his first season with the Eagles, Francouz is tied for third in the league with 13 wins to hold a 13-7-2 record. Francouz also holds a 2.84 goals against average with a .914 save percentage on the season.
Agozzino, 28, will be making his second career appearance in the AHL All-Star game after making his first appearance during the 2014-15 season as a member of the Lake Erie Monsters, the Avs old AHL affiliate. Agozzino currently leads the Eagles with 35 points, including a team-leading 33 goals on the season.
The festivities will begin with the 2019 AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. ET, with the 2019 All-Star Challenge happening on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. ET.
