Memphis Grizzlies veteran Vince Carter may be best known for his slam dunks back in the day, but as it turns out, he is pretty good from downtown as well.
During the second quarter of Wednesday’s 119-99 victory over the Denver Nuggets, Carter would become just the fifth player in NBA history to hit 2,000 three-pointers.

The 40-year-old Carter joins Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, Jason Terry and Paul Pierce in the exclusive club. Allen is the career leader in three-pointers, with 2,973.
Carter would finish the contest with 14 points. The 40-year-old is his 19th season, and is still averaging eight points per game.
