The Denver Broncos have released their official injury report and game status update following Friday’s practice before the team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon.

Denver Broncos rule out Marvin Mims on Sunday vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Denver Broncos will be without Marvin Mims on Sunday when the team hosts the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mims was not present at all this week during the media viewing portion of practice due to a foot injury that he suffered in Monday’s loss against Kansas City.

Mims being out more than likely means Lil’Jordan Humphrey will be active against Jacksonville after he was inactive and released procedurally ahead of Monday Night Football so that Adam Prentice and Mitchell Fraboni could be elevated off of the practice squad.

Wide receiver Troy Franklin (knee), outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (shoulder), and running back RJ Harvey (hamstring) were present on Friday.

Harvey is listed as questionable.

Broncos injury report

If Harvey is unable to go, the Broncos will likely have Tyler Badie active and could + should have Jonah Coleman see more touches and looks offensively.

It’s unclear right now who will replace Mims duties in the punt return game, but it was worth noting that cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine fielded one on Monday Night Football, and Riley Moss is listed as the backup returner. We will see on Sunday, what the Broncos plan is in that department specifically.
