Peyton Manning has two years remaining on his recently-restructured contract with the Denver Broncos – the contract many NFL experts believe will be his last. At 39 years old and coming off a season that was slowed by injuries, the sands of time may indeed be running short for Manning. But longtime sports radio hosts and Broncos analysts Irv Brown and Joe Williams (Mile High Sports AM 1340 | M-F 1-2 p.m.) say that Manning’s time might be up before his contract is.
Brown and Williams, who have been covering the Broncos for more than three decades, took callers to their show Tuesday who offered opposing views about Manning’s future with the Broncos. According to Williams, unless Manning truly thrives in new head coach Gary Kubiak’s offensive system, this will be Manning’s final year in a Broncos uniform.
