After the early morning news has been dominated by Peyton Manning, it’s important to remember that it’s Brock Osweiler who will be suiting up for the Broncos on Monday night, and according to Fox Sport’s Jay Glazer, the rest of the season, too.
On Fox’s pregame show, Glazer reported that Osweiler is currently dealing with a Grade 2 separation of his non-throwing shoulder, which he suffered at the end of the first half of last week’s loss to the Steelers. Nonetheless, Glazer says that this is Osweiler’s team going forward.

Earlier this morning, Manning told Lisa Salters of ESPN that he would backup Osweiler if that’s what the Broncos asked of him, but his intentions are to get back out on the field this season.
According to both head coach Gary Kubiak and Manning himself, the 39-year-old quarterback had a very good week of practice and continues to take incremental steps back towards the playing field; only time will tell if we will see him start another game for the Denver Broncos.
