Aside from his love of where he is, there is a big reason why Coach Prime has a reason to stick around as the head coach for the CU Buffs.

JuJu Lewis, the No. 2 overall high school recruit according to ESPN, announced on the Pat McAfee Show that he will be heading to Boulder to take the spot that will be vacated by Shedeur Sanders after this season.

Lewis had previously committed to USC to play for Lincoln Riley, but decommitted earlier in the fall. He has made a few visits to Boulder, most notably at the Cincinnati game, where the Buffs won to become bowl eligible.

In 11 games for Carrollton (GA) this fall, Lewis has thrown for 2,842 yards and 40 touchdowns.

He also received offers from Georgia, Alabama, Indiana, LSU and Miami, amongst several other schools. He will likely be a finalist for national Gatorade Player of the Year.

And while ESPN pundits continue to speculate on the future of Deion Sanders, this major move that will send shock waves through the college football world might just be the move that keeps Prime comfortable in Boulder.
