Broncos second-year safety Justin Simmons made the biggest play of the season to date on Sunday, intercepting a pass from Raiders quarterback EJ Manuel with less than two minutes remaining and sealing a Broncos victory over their division rival.
It’s been a wild start to the 2017 season for Simmons, who worked his way into a starting role during training camp and has continued to turn heads at every turn.
Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro were in the Broncos locker room following the win, and asked the 23-year-old Simmons about his game-changing play and how he’s acclimating to being a member of the vaunted No Fly Zone secondary.
