As if there was any doubt, Justin Simmons has been awarded AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Forget why? Here’s a reminder:

Not only did that play win the Broncos the game, but it was simply an insanely impressive physical feat. If Simmons had so much as clipped the Saints’ long snapper with his pinky toe, he would have been called for a penalty, inching New Orleans closer and likely securing them the extra point, and victory.
This is the Denver Broncos’ 26th AFC Defensive Player of the Week Award all time, but given that this play led to an NFL first — a blocked extra point turned two-point conversion turned victory — it may go down as the most memorable.
