LOOK: ESPN gives Colorado Avalanche a redesigned Las Vegas logo

With the NHL announcing that Las Vegas will be the next city to receive a team, ESPN writers and designers had some fun redesigning NHL logos to have more of a Las Vegas flair.

Here is what they came up with for the Avs and some of their rivals.

It seems like the Avs logo is representative of the last couple of seasons; just a roll of the dice.
The roulette wheel was incorporated into the Red Wings logo. Let’s hope the ball lands on an Avs win this season.
The Wild logo looks a lot like a court jester, but the Wild were not joking around last season  beating the Avs five out of six times.

I don’t know what’s scarier a killer whale or this new sphinx, but the Canucks logo is one mean animal either way.
