LOOK: For $22 million you can move into Mike Shanahan’s mind-boggling mansion

Eight years have past since Mike Shanahan was fired by the Denver Broncos, but it’s safe to say that he’s still the man in Denver.

In 2008, Shanahan was in the middle of building what looked to be a house fit for a king when the Broncos decided to let him go after missing the playoffs in three consecutive seasons.

It now seems that Shanahan is on the move. His 32,000 square foot palace in Cherry Hills hit the market earlier this week with an asking price of $22 million according to redfin.com.

Here’s what helping Denver to its first major pro sports championships in back-to-back season can help you buy:

The house, which features six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, also boasts a seven car garage, 11 fireplaces, a rooftop patio, a fountain, a wine cellar, a two-lane bowling alley and a rooftop patio.

That’s just scratching the surface. The house also includes a guest house.

It’s no wonder Peyton Manning took Shanahan up on the offer to stay in the mansion while Manning was looking for his own place to stay.

If you’re thinking about trying to scrounge up the money to live like Denver royalty, you can expect to pay an estimated $1.31 million per year after monthly mortgage payments, home owners association dues and taxes.

With an asking price that high, maybe Von Miller will move in after his record-breaking deal gets finished.
