It’s now no secret that Ty Lawson was arrested for driving under the influence early Tuesday morning. As Denver has been dealing with the true backlash of one of their franchise players, some of the team at MHS took to Twitter with their responses about Lawson’s latest fiasco:
As a human being & as someone who has watched Lawson play for a long time, I hope he gets help. (1/2)

Objectively, I ALSO think the Nuggets benefit a great deal by standing by him and helping him through it from several standpoints. (2/2)

Some have suggested #Nuggets Lawson doesn't have a drinking problem. No one knows that, but he does have a drinking and driving problem.

Overpaid, immature, spoiled, entitled, running with the wrong people, not focused on basketball. You guys are right Ty does have problems.

Serious note about #nuggets Lawson, if Connelly can get anything significant in return for Lawson, he should be up for exec. of the year.

Lawson's problems didn't just develop. There's a reason no one wanted him on draft night.

I guess we know what "travel issues" were keeping Ty Lawson from attending his youth basketball camp.

Wow! The timing of Ty Lawson's DUI last night couldn't be worse for the Nuggets.

"Hi, I'm Ty Lawson & I want to tell you about my friends at Uber" —- Things Ty will never say for $500 Alex. #Nuggets
