The Denver Broncos made a clear push to build the offense in the 2020 NFL Draft, but it’s cornerback Michael Ojemudia who holds all the cards to defining the draft class, says Broncos Blitz podcast host Ronnie Kohrt.
Kohrt talks about the lynchpin position of cornerback to complete the defense and how the success or failure of Ojemudia may paint the future for the cornerback room over the next couple of years in Denver.
Running a 4.45 in the 40-yard dash at the combine, Ojemudia has the speed and flashed some elite skills in 2019. As the highest selection on defense, the pressure is high to produce and produce instantly.
IMO, Michael Ojemudia is the lynchpin to the #Broncos 2020 #NFLDraft.
If he doesn't pan out, Denver's corners are in rough shape against great offenses for the foreseeable future.
Elite defense will be needed to win a shootout vs Mahomes. He's that good.
