With Tom Thibodeau and Scott Brooks both declining to coach this season, and every other coaching vacancy filled up, the Nuggets are running thin on candidates for their head coach position. Wednesday a new name surfaced according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.

Mike Woodson is currently an assistant coach under Doc Rivers with the Los Angeles Clippers. He does have head coaching experience with the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks. As a head coach, Woodson has a record of 315-365, good for a .391 winning percentage.
