Multiple Denver Broncos landed on midseason All-Pro lists.

Well, technically, “It’s impossible to have the halfway point because we’re on odd number of games,” Sean Payton said after the Texans win. “We passed the halfway point. I’m kidding you. It is what it is. What’s our record? I lost track.”

Where do the Denver Broncos stand at the midway point in the season? They lead the AFC West by a game and the sorry Raiders in town tonight.

Multiple Denver Broncos land on All-Pro lists

Through nine games, the Broncos are 7-2, and many of their players are landing on midseason All-Pro lists as their recognition for helping the team get to this point.

First up is Bill Barnwell’s list, which includes three Denver Broncos All-Pros on both the first and second teams.

Lots of Broncos on these lists here.

Right Guard Quinn Meinerz earned AP First-Team All-Pro last season, and he’s there again on this list. On the defensive side of the ball, interior lineman Zach Allen—who’s on a tear with 5.0 sacks and 25 QB hits—is on the first team and so is Patrick Surtain.

Surtain remains the NFL’s best cornerback following being named Defensive Player of the Year last season.

On Barnwell’s second team is Garett Bolles, the steady left tackle, superstar-in-the-making Nik Bonitto, and Talanoa Hufanga. Hufanga has been arguably the best free agent acquisition by the Broncos from this past offseason.

Pro Football Focus

PFF named two Broncos as All-Pros on their first team. Those were, again, Meinerz and Bolles.

Bolles leads all left tackles in PFF overall grade (87.3) and also tops all tackles in PFF pass-blocking grade (90.0). Through nine games, he’s allowed just seven total pressures across 381 pass-blocking snaps — none of which have resulted in a sack.

And on Meinerz:

Meinerz is the only right guard to rank inside the top five at the position in both PFF pass- and run-blocking grades. Through nine weeks, he’s allowed 13 total pressures across 383 pass-blocking snaps, while his 82.2 PFF run-blocking grade ranks fourth among all guards.

Also honored by Pro Football Focus as second-teamers were:

Tonight, the Broncos (7-2) face the Raiders (2-6) at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. The Broncos look to make it seven straight wins tonight for the first time since 2015.

The Broncos are 14th in scoring (25.0 PPG) and 4th in scoring defense (18.4) while Las Vegas is 29th in scoring (16.5) and 23rd in scoring defense (26.3). Denver should win easily and are 9.5-point favorites.

The game kicks off at 6:15 p.m. MT on Prime.
