Sometimes, the NBA gives a gift of a game early in the schedule.
Last night, the Denver Nuggets were great against the Houston Rockets, playing consistently hard and executing at a high level on the road against another great team. It was fun to watch, and the plays made by Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and the rest of the Nuggets were even more fun.
Nuggets fans should value this game. It was a great example of what the Nuggets can do when they’re pushed to be their best. That’s encouraging on so many levels as Denver’s championship expectations continue to rise around the NBA.
