Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were dynamic when it mattered

Ending a losing streak is always good, no matter how it happens.

The Denver Nuggets ultimately won vs the Philadelphia 76ers, and though they played about three minutes of good defense in total, they found a way to outscore the Sixers in the clutch. Nikola Jokic was the biggest reason why, scoring 13 clutch points and converting big time baskets in the pressure cooker. Jamal Murray certainly helped though, setting the table for Jokic and Michael Porter Jr. in the closing minutes. Murray also made big shots throughout the game to keep the Nuggets afloat.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn breaks down the Denver Nuggets 137-134 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Nikola Jokic had an odd game but came up clutch at the end. Jamal Murray was excellent throughout. Michael Porter Jr., Christian Braun, and Julian Strawther shot efficiently. Denver won with offense only, but they snapped their losing streak.

Ryan discusses the defensive struggles, Denver overcoming them, and if that losing streak was just a blip on the radar or something else.
