Ty Lawson may have been a huge part of the Denver Nuggets franchise for his first six seasons in the league, but that may be about to change. Before the trade deadline, Nuggets management was looking for multiple first round draft picks for the former University of Northern Carolina point guard. No team was willing to bite for the veteran, but the offseason may be a different story.
The Utah Jazz, Sacramento Kings, and the Boston Celtics all could make a play for the point guard. The Utah Jazz have the most enticing propects for the Nuggets with a lottery pick and a core of young talent.
Lawson would be a great fit for Utah, seeing that he is only 27 years old, and has experience playing at a high altitude. Look for the Lawson trade rumors to heat up when the NBA draft approaches
