Sean Payton and George Paton have finalized the Broncos 53-man roster. Now, Denver will turn their full attention to Week 1 in Kansas City. Unfortunately, some fan favorites and multi-year Denver veterans were cut. We also learned that Jonathon Cooper is on the NFL commissioner exempt list as his legal proceedings play out. With training camp finished, the goal now is to get everyone healthy and install some wrinkles in the playbook Denver used in the preseason.
On the latest Orange Crush Podcast, Cody Roark and Rachel Vigil describe the scene out at Dove Valley for practice so far this week. The Broncos 53-man roster includes all three quarterbacks, six wide receivers, and SEVEN defensive lineman. A couple key veterans stepped up to the podium and praised Bo Nix’s development and demeanor. In addition to recognizing Nix, Pat Surtain II addressed facing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Week 1. Garett Bolles also shared how grateful he is to play alongside Ben Powers, and the challenges presented by Denver’s defensive line.
