In case you missed it, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier this morning that Peyton Manning was not okay with backing up Brock Osweiler when/if he returned from his plantar fascia injury.
John Elway immediately came out and emphatically denied the report.
Peyton has never told Gary or myself that he doesn't want to be the backup. Any report or rumor that suggests otherwise is incorrect!!

Likewise, following Sunday’s game, Peyton Manning made it very clear what he though of Rapoport’s report, too.

Yes, Peyton, “Bulls**t” and “Insulting” is pretty plain and clear. The question, then, is where Rapoport got this information?
Nonetheless, whether the Broncos like it or not, after their third straight game without a second-half point, the quarterback controversy is only going to continue to heat up, at least amongst the fans.
