It was an All-Star sendoff for David Letterman as the staple of late night television concluded his 33-year career on Wednesday night.
In addition to presidents and Hollywood stars offering their own attempts at acerbic goodbyes to the talk show legend, Letterman’s famous “Top Ten” list featured some of the all-time comedy greats delivering some final words to Dave. And among the group that included Steve Martin, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Tina Fey were two somewhat unlikely names – at least when it comes to their “day jobs.”
Barbara Walters and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning played it straight, but delivered big laughs in the final “Top Ten.”

This was Manning’s second similar cameo this year – he appeared alongside Derek Jeter for Saturday Night Live’s 40th Anniversary Special in February.
